Thanks to all of the wonderful workshop presenters, key note speakers and sponsors that made the May 9 Building Nonprofit Capacity event a huge success. With just two mailings to a select group of nonprofits, over 175 nonprofit leaders registered for the lunch and workshop.
One attendee wrote on the survey form, "This is exactly what we need in South Jersey! A forum to get together, share ideas and learn how to better run our respective organizations." That sentiment was shared by many. More than 20 people volunteered to serve as a member of the Board or on a committee. Twelve individuals indicated that their organizations are interested in sharing space and services.
The NPDC Advisory Board is working diligently to meet the needs of the nonprofit community in this region. You will be hearing from us soon!
